The BMC BladeLogic Server Automation (BSA)** product is a comprehensive system for the initial provisioning and ongoing automated management of datacenter servers. Using this system, administrators can provision operating systems onto servers and then specify how the server should be configured. BSA allows administrators to manage servers with a consistent user experience, regardless of whether the servers are physical or virtual.
**NOTE: Starting with version 8.9.03, BMC Server Automation is renamed to TrueSight Server Automation. This course is appropriate for all 8.9 versions and product names.
This course is highly interactive and includes a significant amount of hands-on activities, in addition to a Q&A session with a BMC product expert. Students are required to possess extensive BSA product experience, including successful completion of the BMC Certified Professional: BMC BladeLogic Server Automation 8.x Certification.
This course uses a mix of instructor-led introduction, practical exercises and mentoring during the sessions. Additional resources, such Additional resources, such as product documentation, will be used as it would during an actual customer implementation.
Important Note: The BMC Certified Expert: BladeLogic Server Automation 8.x Online Proctored Exam is included with the BMC BladeLogic Server Automation 8.x: Expert-Level Training course. To qualify for this exam, candidates must have a valid BMC Certified Professional: BladeLogic Server Automation 8.x designation. Taking the exam and pursuing certification is optional.
